My House

Finally after looking and searching my wife and I are moving into our place on the 17th of this montyh it feels good to finally own our own home instead of renting to everyone out there what are some benefits and disadvantages you have with owning?

Hi, I'm a friend of Carol's. Congratulations on the home ownership!
As a renter, I am very comfortable because I'm also a single mother and my finances are tight. My hot water heater recently went out and had to be replaced (at the landlords expense). Those are the times that I'm glad I rent!
Yet, it would be nice to have a home of our very own, something that we could add our own character to, and watch the kids grow up in.
