Hello Alex,

I am saddened by this action of blasphemy of someones faith in the pretence of free speech.

I am a Muslim myself but not enough to torch the Dutch Embassy or riot to the indifference.

Would anyone be partial if at the expense of their mother's or sister's face be caricatured like a prostitute or porn-like pictures just for the sake of cheap publicity stunt masking as free speech?

What if they do something like that to Jesus? Wonder what kind of reaction would we see then? Wonder from which sector of people or faith will react?

Wonder how differently will they react if a Muslim does that on the basis of free speech? Then again, Jesus is one of our Prophets.

That is how sacred and personal Islam is to me, maybe to many more around the world.

It is very unfortunate that Islam has to be hated, ridiculed and be associated with terrorism to increase an already tensed world we live in.

I see on television in local and international newspapers pictures and depictions of Jesus and faith based comics that do make fun and ridicule many religions. There are people in the world who get mad off of them sometimes I feel as a catholic that some of these shows such as Family guy go to far when making fun and ridiculing Catholicism, but I as you do not go out and torch embassies riot or cause violence to people who published these. I voice my opinion on paper or in a philosophical atmosphere.
